  • 3 night stay in a selected agritourism/hotel in  Limone Piemonte or Vernante (or similar)

Programme

1st day: arrival of the participants by 6 p.m. at the agritourism/hotel booked in Limone Piemonte or Vernante (or similar) and meeting with the mountain guide: check of the clothing and of the equipment (the equipment will be provided to those who do not have it), presentation of the detailed programme. Typical dinner and overnight stay. 

2nd day: breakfast at 8 a.m. and meeting with the mountain guide at 9 a.m. Transfer by own car to Vernante, near the equipped climbing wall of  the Cournalet; climbing school where you will learn about the use of the ropes, the safety tecniques, the knots, the rock climbing and the abseil tecniques (the degree of difficulty of the climbing will be adapted to the abilities of the participants). Packed lunch at the partecipant. Return to the agritourism/hotel in the late afternoon, typical dinner and overnight stay.  

3rd day: after breakfast, at 9 a.m., departure for the wonderful Roya Valley, in France, towards Breil, from where we will reach the Maglia Canyon. Short excursion to reach the gorges. Beginning of the descent along the spectacular path of the torrent which alternates waterfalls – which you can go past by abseiling – deep pools of crystal clear water which you can dive into from 8/10 metres (as an alternative you can abseil). Packed lunch at the partecipant. Return to the agritourism/hotel booked, dinner and overnight stay. For those who wish to, after-dinner in Limone Piemonte, a lively ski-station, few kilometres far from the French border. 

4th day: breakfast at 7.30 a.m., meeting with the mountain guide and departure at 8 a.m. for Tende (Roya Valley). Via ferrata excursion which alternates athletic tracks of climbing on specially fixed  metal steps, Tyrolean traverse over gorges which separate vertical rock faces, curious places like la Grotta dell'Eremita, set between overhangs. Packed lunch at the partecipant. Return in the afternoon and end of the services.

DURATION: 3 nights/4 days.
